I don't see how our car (#25) is involved in that incident according to the protest. But still, we should get a 25s-penalty?
It wouldn't change anything for us, but I believe it's a typo.

Yeah, I was kinda confused how small the distances between the cars were...
Luckily, we didn't have any trouble because of that in the GT1-field and as long as there is noone lagging like hell, it's ok i think. But rules are rules and obeying them seems pretty hard during a starting procedure.

It was also quite irritating how often the field got down to about 50-60 kph..


Apart from that, it was nice to finally do some endurance racing again since mor than 2 years i guess. It was pretty boring for us since we had 2 laps to the car in front of us and also 2 laps difference to the ones behind us. But all in all, i am really happy how it turned out as my first race in FZR.
See you in BL1R, hopefully with a better pace then.

Well, I have never been the fastest, but with some practice, I think I am pretty competitive. For example, I managed to qualify below WR for 16h of 2010 in FE4R (FXR). In addition, I am able to bring a car home with only few mistakes and also save tyres. This always brought me some top positions, even if my pace wasn't the best.

Additional information
Since my team mates always had trouble to drive something else, I only have team-based experience in endurance races on FXR which probably makes it the car that I am most useful in, although I don't expect much FXR's in Grid...
Moreover, I drove most of my races in the last few years with XRR. I think that by now I am pretty competitive on that one, too.
In terms of FZR: I pretty much never drove it anyhow countable, but I think I could also adapt to it, if necessary.

Basically, this sounds interesting.

Yesterday, I tried a few of the new combos.
I have to admit, I didn´t have that much fun with LFS quite for a long time now...

But something about the "results" of that test-session:

First, I tried BL1x_B11.
Although I love chikanes and there is not much difference to the original BL1-track, this is a great track. I drove it with BF1 and FXR. Since there is not much difference to the well known BL1, it´s no surprise, that there were no problems with driving that track.

Another track was FE1y_F12
When I saw this track (in this thread), I knew that I have to drive it, because it looked like highpeed on FE. My test car here was the FO8. As I imagined, this track is really really great to drive. But unfortunately, this track is nothing for leagues, because after 3 laps (or sometimes less...), there is a damage of 100% at the rear suspension... My team mates also tried FXR, LX6 and BF1. -> It´s always the same. Only the UF1 was able to drive more than one fast lap.
I really hope that there will be some improvement for that new straight, soon.

AS1y_A13
Again, we started with the FO8. It´s quite a great track for that car. A lot of full throttle and smooth corners. But still challenging.
But when we moved over to GTR´s (we had all GTR´s), this track was surprisingly hard to manage. I don´t know why, but I (in XRR) was not able to find any decent settings for that track...

Completely the opposite was this track: (AS1x_AS10)

We also tested that track with GTR´s (XRR and FXR).
It was really great to drive there. Although the way out of the pits and the entrancce (which i never tested) are quite bad (still the solution is pretty well), this configuration could be nice for leagues or at least public racing...
In my opinion, this track should get into "track-pack".
BTW: I think, at least 1:42 is possible.

Hi skinners!
My friend and me want to take part at a racing league. So we need some team-skins. Unfortunately, both of us are not really talented in skinning a car. I already tried one, but I am not really happy with it. (I will show you my try later on, so you can better imagine, what I would like how my skin should look like. It needn´t to be exactly like this, it is just how I tried it…)

Now, more about my suggestions for the skin.

Main colour should be black.
Other colours which can be used are a dark blue and for example white, like I did. If you have an absolutely perfect idea without blue and white or one of them, just try it.
Just the main colour black should not be change.

The car also should have a kind of an aggressive look. (I am talking about the thing at the front lights. But it don´t have to be exactly like this, too, if you have another idea.)

Now, more about the details of the skin:
-Our numbers are “244” and “245”. 244 is the one of my teammate. He wants to have yellow mirrors and also the splitters in yellow
My skin should have this details in red.
-As advertising, you should use the logo of “moba-f1” in every case. If possible as the main ad. I will upload it, too.
The address of this forum is “moba-f1.foren-city.de”.
-The name of our team is "Error Racing", if you want to include that.


Well, I feel like I am a little bit too strict with my imaginations for the skin, when I am reading the text…

So, just be creative and do your best!
I also would love it, if you post more than one skin that I can choose the one I like the most.

i just colored the background otherwise because of the black parts of the skin.

i think you shouldn´t criticise me because i did it in paint. (i can work with it pretty well)
there are also people which can´t work in GIMP.
